Food & Drink
For weddings and other large gatherings, 2016 Main features four bar packages. We are also happy to work with you to create a custom package that best suits your specific tastes. Options include per-person packages, cash bar, or a combination of the two. Our standard offerings include:
+ Bronze ($18/person): This option includes beer and wine only. Beer selections are comprised of Boulevard Wheat, Boulevard Pale Ale, and Miller Lite. With this package, you may also choose five Canyon Road wine varietals.
+ Silver ($21/person): This option includes the Bronze Package offerings, as well as house liquors (bourbon, gin, rum, scotch, and vodka).
+ Gold ($24.50/person): This option includes the following beers: Boulevard Wheat, Boulevard Pale Ale, and Miller Lite and five upgraded wines. Spirits include the following (or equivalents): Buffalo Trace Bourbon, New Amsterdam Gin, Captain Morgan’s Rum, Dewar’s Scotch, and Tito’s Vodka.
+ Platinum ($31/person): This option includes the following beers: Boulevard Wheat, Boulevard Pale Ale, and Miller Lite and five premium wines. Spirits include the following (or equivalents): Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Tanqueray Gin, Myers Rum, Glenlivet Scotch, and Grey Goose Vodka.
Coffee, tea, and lemonade service are available upon request and for a fee of $1.35/person.
2016 Main does not provide in-house food services, but does partner with a number of great vendors. We are happy to provide contact information for each. You are free to choose any vendor you like providing the proper licensing and insurance. We have a large catering kitchen in which to prepare food. It includes refrigerators, ice machine, warming oven and ample counter space.
Additional Services & Rentals
We are pleased to accommodate wedding ceremonies for a fee of $595.
The 2016 Main events team would be thrilled to coordinate your event as an additional service. There are two options with differing levels of involvement (and fees):
+ Basic ($350): Basic coordination services include vendor coordination and management, on-site supervision to ensure couple’s wishes are met, linen set-up, execution of vendor payments and tips, and execution of other details like the lighting of candles.
+ More ($575): More coordination services include all those mentioned above, as well as gift and card management, last minute errand service, and day-of drink service and mimosa bar for wedding party and immediate family prior to the start of your event.
All bar packages include plastic cups. If you’d like to upgrade to glassware, you may do so for an additional fee.
2016 Main has two wooden kings tables (or farm tables) you may rent for $75/each (a great option for the head table).
For a small fee, you may rent your linens directly through 2016 Main. Contact for pricing.
As an additional service, 2016 Main offers photo booth rentals. There are two options (with varying fees):
+ Option 1 ($675): Photo booth rental with attendant for the duration of your event, as well as all printed and digital images, and a scrapbook.
+ Option 2 ($595): Photo booth rental with attendant for the duration of your event, as well as all printed and digital images (no scrapbook).
Everything in Between
Audio / Visual
As part of your space rental, you have access to 2016 Main’s A/V system, which includes a projector and mounted television.
We can reasonably accommodate groups of up to 250 for seated dinners. For cocktail style events, the capacity is higher.
+ As part of your space rental, 2016 Main provides tables (six- and eight-foot banquet tables and hi-tops) and chairs for guest seating, as well as ancillary tables for DJ, gifts, cake, dessert, etc.
+ Lounge, or soft seating, furniture is also included in your rental at no additional cost.
Music & Sound
You are free to choose any music vendor you prefer. If you book 2016 Main’s preferred DJ vendor, the house sound system is included in your rental fee at no additional charge. If you choose to use a different vendor, you may utilize our house sound system for a small plug-in fee.
For the months of January, February, and March, 2016 Main offers a 20% discount.
Reserved parking is included in the space rental for wedding events. For other events, reserved parking may be provided for a small additional fee. There is also ample street parking around the space. (View map.)
Security by off-duty KCPD is included in the space rental for wedding events. For other events, security may be provided for a small additional fee.
Set-up, Tear-down & Clean-up
As part of your space rental, our events staff provides set-up, tear-down, and clean-up services.
+ Set-up: We will set up all tables and chairs for your event. For weddings, you will have access to the space for decorating and vendor set-up beginning at 10:30am on the day of your event. Based upon availability, you may decorate the day prior to your event, between the hours of 11:00am and 5:00pm, and for an early-access fee of $100 per hour. For all non-wedding events, early access for decorating and set-up is granted as well.
+ Tear-Down: Once your event is over, 2016 Main staff will tear down all tables and chairs. At the end of the evening, the client is responsible for removing all decorations brought in for the event, unless other arrangements were agreed upon with 2016 Main staff.
+ Clean-up: 2016 Main staff will clean the space following your event. A fee could apply if the space is left in an excessively dirty condition.
Unless other requirements demand, for wedding events, you will have access to the space from 10:30am until 11:30pm on the day of your event. This 13-hour period includes set-up time and your event itself. Events are not to exceed five hours in duration.* Additional hours may be purchased for an additional fee.
*Five hours applies to receptions only; wedding ceremony time is not included in the five hours.

We’ve been fortunate to team with some great vendors since opening our bright orange doors years ago. This guide introduces you to a few of our favorites. However, you are free to choose whoever you like.
Floor Plan & Parking
Just looking for the basics? Take a look at our floor plan and parking map to better understand what you’re working with. Our venue is about 5,600 square feet. For evening events, we have a reserved parking lot off Baltimore Ave.
