Unfortunately, due to circumstances largely out of our hands, we have chosen to postpone our Obliterate.KC art party scheduled for Saturday, July 27. The primary reason we have made this decision is due to lower than anticipated ticket sales. When originally scheduled, we had no idea of the several thousand reasons for which Kansas Citians would be out of town this weekend. Additionally, we think there is a large number of folks who simply don’t realize just how much fun this event would be. Lastly, and most importantly, we have a goal to raise a certain amount of money for our friends at Chain of Hope, and at this time, we are not confident enough in our ability to meet that threshold given the current circumstances.
We deeply appreciate the efforts made by a number of partner vendors to realize this event and we do not foresee those efforts going to waste. Rather than canceling the event, we are hoping only to postpone. Please stay tuned for future announcements as we are likely rescheduling the event for an early 2020 date.
To those who have already purchased tickets, we thank you and sincerely appreciate your support. We will be sending full refunds this week.
Again, stay tuned and when you see the event come around again, please sign up ASAP as Obliterate.kc should be epic… and we’re thinking you wouldn’t want to miss out on anything epic.
Thanks again. Peace and love to all,
